100
km south of Agadir and 30km south west of Tiznit the Eagles Nest
hotel and the vilage of Mirleft is
nowhere near the hustle and bustle of Moroccan life.
But
then you don't go to this place for the disco's and night life.
What you do come to south Morocco for is the amazing flying that
can be had all year round.
That
is why we have chosen this place to move our school to in the winter
time. With the sand dunes, nearer the beach, we can teach people
from day one all the way through to CP and beyond. 2 week courses
will be held in March 2007 for people who would like a holiday
with a difference and come back with a flying qualification. More
details on the courses page. |

You
sit there having a leisurely breakfast and wait
as the sea breeze start to kick in and pick up to
start the days flying. It takes time for the the air to heat
up inland and as it rises it sucks the smooth cool
sea
air giving
great soaring and great for teaching and reliable uncomplicated
flying.
Around lunch time the ground in front of the ridge starts
to get hotter
in
the
mid
day sun
and thermals start to pop up making things a little more exciting
for those who need
to
practice their thermaling or students prepqring for the next
level.
Then
almost like clockwork at around 4pm the air gets smooth
giving you easy flying again. |

As
night draws near you have to drag your self out of the sky to get
ready for the evening
meal. And even the evening meal is no ordinary experience.
Every
night you have your meal by candle light and the freshest of
ingredients and some of the best chefs around promise enthraling
meals.
With
restaurants up and down the coast we have ample choice and you
could choose from Italian to even burgers if you really must but
we
would suggest a more traditional Morocan meal as the herbs and
spices that they use
in
Morocco make
every meal
something
different. |

We
do a veriety of courses in Morocco ranging from total
beginers to full Pilots and even Paramotoring courses.
If you do the beginners course we start you off on the sand dunes getting your first taste of flight only a few feet off the ground. With that mastered we take you to some bigger dunes getting you to fly 30-50ft off the ground for 100 yards and putting in some gentle turns. Once this is done the dunes get bigger and you end up flying 200ft before going on to the main ridge for the rest of your time there.
Once on the main ridge you start your CP training going through everything
you need to know before soaring and eventually landing back on top.
Top to bottoms are aided by us picking you

up
from the bottom of the hill in the mini bus and taking you back
to the top ready to do it again.
The
Paramotoring courses, although can be adapted for total newcommers,
are designed for people who idealy know at least the basics about
paragliding
and
want to
learn
to paramotor
in nice and warm weather
or use
it as an introduction to the Paramotoring Adventure holidays.
These
Paramtoring Adventure Holidays are two weeks flying around southern
Morocco going from the coast all the way to the edge of the desert
and then back up to Marakesh.
