Despite a history of varying fortunes which devastated its people and its cultural assets and treasures, Hungary retains a valuable cultural and environmental heritage which people come from all over the world to enjoy.
Also here is the famous 'Danube Bend'. This area is of outstanding natural beauty as the River Danube winds its way between Hungary and Slovakia passing places such as Estergorm and the famous Vac Castle, pictured on the left.
Flying around this area is spectacular as we usually do it in the evenings as we watch the sunset over the River Danube.
“The prairies billow like a sea” - wrote the Hungarian poet, Sandor Petofi who was a lover of the Hungarian Puszta and the river Tisza. The river gives life to the sandy country and fish for the inimitably delicious fish soup made here.

The highest hills in Hungary cross the northern part of the country diagonally from the Danube to the River Tisza. The 600 - 900 meter high ridges of the Cserhat Matra, Bukk and Zemplini mountains hold incomparable natural and cultural treasures.
