Betwwen these two valleys, only 10km apart as the crow flies, they can offer the pilot just about every kind of flying they could ever wish for. Whether it's a course to finish off your CP, some real good cross country flying or even a S.I.V. course this could be the place to come.

Both these valleys are used as the summer playground for the Germans and I found very few leaflets or signs in English. Having said that I had very little trouble in finding my way around but then I was willing to learn a few words of German to help me. As usual if people see you are making the effort they are glad to help.

The other thing to note is that when I went there in August the place was relatively empty. I couldn't believe that with all the sports they have to offer here there was hardly anyone about, which just makes it better for us.
